Research overview：
腸内細菌とヒトは緊密な共生関係を構築していますが、その共生機構は未だに不明な部分が多く残されています。本研究では、糖タンパク質の糖鎖代謝機構を腸内細菌において解明すると共に、当該代謝が腸内細菌叢およびヒトに及ぼす生理機能を明らかにします。これにより、糖鎖代謝を介した腸内細菌とヒトの新たな共生の概念を提案することを目指します。
