本研究では、分子性錯体触媒を用いて「強固な木質細胞壁の破砕」および「木材由来の高分子に機能性をもたらす官能基変換」を穏和な条件下で、単段階で実現できることを実証します。さらに、技術の社会実装やLCAに鑑み、触媒とその反応効率にとどまらず、原料調達やスケールなど生産システム全体の最適化を検討します。これにより木材の化成品利用の拡大展開を目指します。
