Research overview：
本研究では、さまざまなDNA組換え酵素(リコンビナーゼ)に関して遺伝子探索、機能解析、クライオ電子顕微鏡構造解析を行い、多様なリコンビナーゼによるDNA組換えメカニズムを解明します。さらに、構造情報に基づく分子改変を行い、機能性の向上したリコンビナーゼ改変体を創出し、効率的な長鎖DNAノックイン技術を開発します。最終的には、ゲノム大規模欠損に起因する遺伝性疾患の治療法を確立します。
