沸騰を世界最先端の計測・解析技術により精密に分解して熱伝達メカニズムを再構築する新しい熱流体科学を実践し、新規熱輸送技術、数値計算熱伝達予測技術、データ駆動型解析による沸騰予知技術の創出に資する知見の獲得を目指します。高効率・長距離熱輸送を実現する沸騰現象の工業利用の広まりは、熱輸送に必要な電力、材料量の大幅な低減、排熱再利用の高効率化につながり、脱炭素社会の実現に寄与します。
