Research overview：
生殖系列は世代を越えて生き続ける「不死」の細胞系列と言われています。これまでの研究から、リボソームDNA反復配列のコピー数安定維持機構が生殖系列の「不死性」を支えていることがわかってきました。しかし、生殖系列における本機構のメカニズムはまだよくわかっていません。そこで本研究では、生殖系列における本機構の分子基盤を解明し、得られた知見から体細胞老化の抑制へむけた方法確立の手がかりを提供します。
