Research overview：
老化現象の一つである、ミトコンドリアDNA(mtDNA)変異による細胞機能の変容を理解することは非常に重要です。しかし、mtDNA編集技術が十分確立されていないため、mtDNA変異由来の機能変化は検討されていません。そこで本研究では、独自技術を用いてmtDNA編集技術を確立し、mtDNA変異が細胞に与える影響をマルチオミクス解析により評価することで、mtDNA変異と老化の関係性を解明します。
