Research overview：
本研究では、日本沿岸における海草藻場および海藻藻場を対象として、藻場植生の生産及び流出観測、船舶からの採水・採泥調査や分解実験を通じた藻場由来有機炭素動態の実測と海洋モデルシミュレーションを統合化して「藻場吸収源デジタルツイン」を構築し、日本国内における藻場から外洋の貯留庫への炭素移行量の定量的把握や気候変動に伴う将来予測情報の創出により、気候変動対策に貢献する。
