Research overview：
全身の血管の99%を占める毛細血管の内皮構造は3種に分類され、その内皮表面のグリコカリックス(糖衣)の超微細構造と成分は臓器や組織によって違うことを明らかにしてきました。さらに多くの臓器や組織でのグリコカリックスの多様性を可視化し、その多様性に基づく臓器・個体レベルの恒常性維持機構や疾患における血管内皮グリコカリックスの役割の解明に挑戦します。そして、今まで見えていなかった毛細血管の謎に迫ります。
