Research overview：
蛍光タンパク質を用いた生体分子イメージングでは、幅広い蛍光スペクトルの重なりが原因で同時観察可能な色数が限られるという課題があります。本研究ではラマンスペクトルの狭帯域性に着目し、蛍光よりも同時多重検出能に優れたラマンイメージング法での観察に適した多色の「ラマンタンパク質」を独自の分子設計によって開発し、多様な生命現象を同時観察する基盤技術の確立を目指します。
