Research overview：
複雑で乱れた流れは物質、生命、気象などの多岐にわたる階層でみられる普遍的現象です。私たちの体を守る上皮細胞も集団となり不規則な乱流構造を示しますが、その乱流発生の本質や、乱流を利活用する生物学的意義には理解が及んでいません。本研究では独自の幾何学的制御法とデータ駆動的手法を融合させ、細胞集団の乱流ダイナミクスに潜む幾何学的な法則を発見し、生体組織の恒常性を解明する新たな物理学領域を開拓します。
