海水中の微量金属は,植物プランクトンにとって必須栄養素もしくは毒物であるため,海洋の微量金属と炭素の循環は密接に関係し合っています.本研究では,大気エアロゾル,植物プランクトン,海水,海水中粒子,堆積物に含まれる微量金属の濃度と同位体分析によって海洋における溶存態および粒子態微量金属の供給-輸送-除去プロセスの定量的な理解を目指します.
