Research overview：
室温で保存できいつでも復水(水で戻すこと)により使用可能なインスタント臓器の開発を目指します。まず、加圧凍結や極低温乾燥というこれまで用いられたことのない手法を用い、細胞や組織の凍結乾燥・復水技術の開発を試みます。さらに、3Dプリント技術と統合することで、復水して移植可能な大型インスタント臓器を開発します。本研究による技術的革新により、細胞保存、創薬、再生医療の分野の飛躍的進展が期待されます。
