Research overview：
現在の工業的物質生産のニーズに即した酵素の反応適用範囲の拡張は、バイオプロセスの実用化における課題です。本研究では、酵素の反応適用範囲を光エネルギーを利用して拡張することをめざし、光励起による挑戦的なラジカル反応を促進する新規生体触媒を開発します。具体的には、指向性進化法を駆使して酵素を改変することで、α-ケト酸とハロゲン化アルキルの不斉ラジカルカップリング反応を実現する新規生体触媒を創製します。
