Research overview：
本研究は、霊長類モデル動物(サル)を用いて、多感覚から生じる環境の予測、変化の気づき、柔軟な行動の切り替えという一連の神経基盤の理解を目指す。特に、多感覚情報が収斂する前頭眼窩野の機能に着目し、感覚皮質から前頭眼窩野、前頭眼窩野と皮質下神経核との相互連絡による情報処理の役割を特定することで、感覚野-前頭連合野、および前頭連合野-皮質下領域における情報処理機構の新たな機能モデルの構築を目指す。
