Research overview：
微生物群集は様々な代謝機能や動植物への影響を通じて、幅広い産業・環境問題と密接に関連しています。本研究では、微生物群集全体の有益・有害な機能を好適に制御するという目標に向け、個々の微生物が発揮する機能の相互作用に着目した新たな解析手法を提案します。特に、群集中の各構成種が「群集全体の機能にどれだけ寄与するか」を定量的な指標として表現するための実験デバイスと数理モデルの開発に取り組みます。
