Research overview：
更年期は40~50代女性に訪れる加齢変容です。生殖機能の老化に伴い、性ホルモンの分泌量が徐々に減少し、中枢神経系の機能に変調をきたします。本研究では更年期における行動変容の実態を明らかにすることを目指します。社会行動を制御する神経回路をモデルとし、分子・解剖・生理・行動解析を駆使して、生殖機能の老化と行動変化を結び付ける神経内分泌学的メカニズムに迫ります。
