Research overview：
植物のCO2固定化能を強化する菌根共生系を開発する。共生トランスオミクス技術を構築し、CO2固定活性化や分配制御を解明する。同時に、難培養性共生菌である菌根菌を単離・培養化する技術と遺伝的改良技術を構築し、菌根菌工学を確立する。最終的には、光合成活性化菌根菌を作出して植物のCO2固定化能を高めるとともに、炭素分配制御により地上部分配型植物と菌根菌分配型植物を開発し、カーボンニュートラルに貢献する。
