Research overview：
空間反転対称性の破れた結晶構造をもつ極性材料は、強誘電性、圧電性、焦電性、非線形光学特性といった優れた機能性を示します。一般的に、強誘電体は絶縁体として開発されてきたため、伝導体は強誘電性を示さないと考えられてきました。本研究では、この常識を覆すべく、極性骨格をもつイオン伝導体の新規合成開拓を行うことで、極性と伝導イオンが強相関した新物性の実現に挑戦します。
