Research overview：
本研究は、申請者らが2021年に同定した、脳の嗅内皮質に投射して記憶を司っているドパミン細胞に生じる加齢性機能障害の解剖・生理・分子メカニズムを明らかにし、なぜマウスが加齢性記憶障害を起こすのかを理解することを目的とします。嗅内皮質はアルツハイマー病の起始核であることから、本研究を通じて将来的なアルツハイマー病の病理解明を目指します。
