Research overview：
音波が細胞にどのような作用をもたらすのかは、未だ十分に体系立って追究されていない、生命科学の未踏領域です。本研究では、独自に組み立てた細胞音響装置を用いて、様々な音波が細胞にもたらす作用を明らかにするとともに、細胞が異なる音波パターンを「聞き分ける」メカニズムを追究します。また、音波を刺激源とした遺伝子操作や細胞分化操作を達成して、新たな発想の細胞操作技術の開発に挑戦します。
