Research overview：
本研究では、アリ、トカゲ、タコ、マウスを対象に、最新の計測・摂動技術を用いて、睡眠や冬眠の無意識状態の進化論的起源と機能を比較生物学的に解析する。特に、睡眠ステージの遷移機構、冬眠と睡眠の進化的関係、生物時計の無意識制御メカニズム、記憶保持のシナプス構造ダイナミクスに焦点を当て、無意識脳の特異性と共通性を解明する。これにより、生命力維持に果たす無意識の役割を明らかにし、新たな生命観の創出を目指す。
