Research overview：
生命機能に重要なノンコーディングRNAは、その構造が進化的に保存されることが知られます。しかし、ノンコーディングRNAの進化的保存性は、未解明な部分が大きいです。そこで本研究では、ヒトを中心とした脊椎動物に焦点を当て、進化的に保存されているノンコーディングRNAを新規に発見するための手法を開発します。これにより、脊椎動物におけるノンコーディングRNAが担う生命機能の解明に貢献します。
