好奇心は、実世界のような不確実で明確な報酬のない環境でも、私たちを行動に駆り立てます。この好奇心メカニズムは、神経科学だけでなくAIやロボティクスなど情報学でも注目されている一方、実態は未だ明らかではありません。本研究課題では、情報学と神経科学を融合し、霊長類の好奇心を引き出す革新的サルVR実験システム開発を通じて、好奇心を生む環境とその神経メカニズムを同定し、好奇心駆動型の次世代AI開発への貢献を目指します。
