Research overview：
細胞内のタンパク質は加齢に伴い、ときに必要な局在を消失し、あるいは不必要な凝集を形成します。これらは組織・個体の機能低下や疾病を惹起することから、生理的なタンパク質動態を付与する細胞内環境の理解が重要です。本研究は、タンパク質動態が細胞内の熱力学的性質に依ること、これが小分子で調節される知見に基づき、タンパク質の細胞内集合動態を制御しその変容に対抗する生体内代謝産物について研究します。
