Research overview：

本研究は、分裂酵母のフェロモン認識機構における「厳密さ」と「柔軟さ」の二面性を理解し、環境適応のメカニズムを解明することを目指します。具体的には、フェロモンとその受容体の認識特異性の変化が生殖隔離や種分化にどのように寄与するかを、時空間スケールで詳細に計測し解析します。また自然界から実際に単離した野生酵母株の調査と組み合わせることで、酵母の生命力を把握し、自然界での進化の理解を深めます。
