Research overview：
ヒトの進化過程では様々な適応が起き、その結果として現生人類の解剖学的・機能的な特徴が形作られてきました。本研究ではヒトの進化の過程で起こった特徴的な性質の変化が、どのように神経変性疾患に関わっているのかを、神経変性疾患患者由来iPS細胞を用いてメタボロミクスなどのマルチオミックス解析などを併用しつつ明らかにします。将来的に本研究は神経変性疾患の新しい治療戦略の開発に結び付くことが期待されます。
