抄録/ポイント： 【背景】PTTG1相互作用蛋白質(PTTG1IP)は癌原性蛋白質であり,セクリン(PTTG1)の活性化を通して細胞周期の中期-後期転移に関与する。PTTG1IPは細胞質から核へのsecurinのシフトを促進し,分離酵素とsecurinの間の相互作用を可能にする。PTTG1IP過剰発現は悪性疾患,例えば乳癌において以前に観察されている。しかし,乳癌患者におけるPTTG1IPの予後的価値は,以前に明らかにされていない。【方法】22年までの追跡調査による合計497人の乳癌患者を,PTTG1IPとセクリン免疫発現のために分析した。結果を臨床予後因子および患者生存との相関について評価した。【結果】著者らの材料において,陰性PTTG1IP免疫発現は,乳癌死の1.5倍のリスクを予測した(p=0.02)。しかし,分析へのsecurin免疫発現の追加は,患者材料においてより強くて独立した予後力を示した(HR=2.5,p<0.0001)。securinの細胞内位置は,3重陰性乳癌(n=96,p=0.052)の間でも,潜在的予後的価値を有することがわかった。結論:PTTG1IP陰性度単独と高いsecurin免疫発現との組み合わせは,乳癌死の高いリスクを示し,著者らの材料において14年生存差をもたらす。Copyright 2018 The Author(s).
