抄録/ポイント： 匂いの空間中の分布や発生源の推定が可能な,蛍光色素をプローブとして用いる匂いる匂い検出方法を述べた。蛍光色素を含んだ匂い可視化フィルムと冷却型CCDカメラによる匂い検出システムを提案し,その有効性を確認した。複数の蛍光色素について,蛍光分光光度計を用いて,匂い物質に対する蛍光の変化を測定し,匂いの検出可能性を考察した。更に,蛍光変化の乏しい匂い物質検出のために,蛍光共鳴エネルギー移動(FRET)が発生している混合系の使用も検討し,匂い検出の可能性を示した。
