抄録/ポイント： 日本の海形海山の南東斜面付近の深さ573m地点でSolmissus incisa sensu latoに割り当てられるnarcomedusa個体が魚を摂取するのを観察した。Solmissusは非常に一般的なnarcomedusan属であり,ゼラチン状プランクトンの特定の捕食者であると広く考えられている。触手の数と口柄管の形態の異なる数種の潜在種が,名目種Solmissus incisaに含まれると思われる。したがって本研究では胃内に魚が見られたSolmissus incisa s.l.の形態型並びにゼラチン状の餌を摂取する同じ形態型のいくつかの個体について要約して記述する。(翻訳著者抄録)
