抄録/ポイント： ・1940年から1970年にかけて進行した北極の寒冷化に関して,13の全球気候モデルを用いて解析。
・地表気温低下の主要因は,人為起源のエアロゾルによる放射効果。
・ただし,人為起源の温室効果ガスが,エアロゾルによる寒冷化効果の約2/3を相殺。
・太陽放射の変動と火山活動に起因する寒冷化もあるが,その寄与はエアロゾルの約1/5程度。
