Claim (excerpt)：

リチウム含有酸化物を活物質とする正極と、非水電解液と、リチウムイオンを吸蔵・放出することが可能なメソフェーズ小球体を黒鉛化した炭素物質を負極とする非水電解液二次電池であって、前記炭素物質は、黒鉛化する前のメソフェーズ小球体中のβレジン分が2wt%以上15wt%以下である非水電解液二次電池。
