タバコ品の加工機械を制御する方法であって、機械(2、3、4)の状態を周期的に監視してエラー信号(ES)を求める工程と、エラー信号(ES)が求められた場合に機械(2、3、4)を停止させる工程と、を備えた方法であって、 エラー信号(ES)に因る機械(2、3、4)の停止に続いて、機械(2、3、4)を個別に且つ自動的に所定回数だけ再始動させ、エラー信号(ES)が再始動工程の1つの期間に消失しない場合に、機械(2、3、4)を明確に停止させることを特徴とする方法。
