導電性支持体上に感光層を設けた電子写真感光体において、該電子写真感光体の最外層が下記一般式で表わされるメチルフェニルポリシロキサンと変性ポリシロキサンとの混合物を含有していることを特徴とする電子写真感光体。【化1】上記一般式中のR1〜R10はそれぞれ異なってもよく、メチル基、置換基を有してもよいフェニル基(但し少なくとも一つは置換基を有してもよいフェニル基である)を表す。m,nは0又は正の整数である(但し、m,nは同時に0ではない)。
