用紙処理装置本体内に受け入れられて該本体内を搬送される用紙を、その搬送方向及び該方向と直交する方向に位置決め整合する用紙整合手段と、該手段によって整合された用紙を整合位置においてクランプする用紙クランプ部材と、用紙を整合位置とは異なる別の位置で加工処理する用紙加工処理手段と、用紙クランプ部材によってクランプされた用紙の一部が用紙加工処理手段の位置に来るように、用紙を整合位置から移動させると共に、用紙の、用紙加工処理手段に対する相対位置が、用紙の移動方向上において変更可能になるように、該用紙を位置決めする用紙クランプ部材移動駆動手段と、用紙加工処理手段を、用紙移動方向と直交する方向に走行駆動すると共に、この走行方向上の任意の位置で位置決めする手段とを具備して成る用紙処理装置。
