【要約】【課題】 リチウム二次電池用負極において、結着剤として、非水系電解液によって膨潤せず、負極活物質同志および活物質層と集電体とを柔軟かつ強力に接着できる結着剤を提案し、この結着剤を用いることにより当該負極の高率放電特性やサイクル特性を飛躍的に向上させる。【解決手段】 リチウム二次電池用負極の構成材料として、ブタジエン含有量が20〜40重量%、スチレン含有量が60〜80重量%であり、かつゲル含量が60%以上のスチレン-ブタジエンゴム系結着剤を用いる。
Claim (excerpt)：
リチウムイオンを吸蔵・放出することのできる粉末状炭素材料よりなる負極活物質が、結着剤により集電体に結着されてなる非水系二次電池用負極において、前記結着剤として、JIS規格試験による引張強度が80kg/cm2 以上で、破断伸びが500%以上であるブタジエン含有のゴム系結着剤が使用されていることを特徴とする非水系二次電池用負極。
