【課題】大気汚染物質のNOxやN2Oの副生を極力抑えながら、排ガス中のアンモニアを効率よく窒素に分解除去することのできるアンモニア分解触媒を提供する。【解決手段】マンガンを担持させたアルミナに、ゼオライトを混合させたことを特徴とするアンモニア分解触媒である。マンガンの担持量が触媒全体に対して0.5〜60重量%であることが好ましく、またゼオライトの混合量が触媒全体に対して1〜30重量%であることが好ましい。この触媒にアンモニアを含む排ガスを接触させることにより、NOxやN2Oの副生が抑えられ、且つ排ガス中のアンモニアが酸化されて効率よく分解除去される。【選択図】なし
