【要約】【目的】 優れた耐蝕性を発揮する信頼性の高いリン酸型燃料電池の多孔質電極基板用炭素繊維を提供する。【構成】 黒鉛六角網面層の平均格子面間隔d002 が0.345nm以下、結晶子の大きさLc(002)が5.0nm以上で、かつ表層部の炭素網面がオニオンスキン構造の黒鉛結晶性状を備えるリン酸型燃料電池の多孔質電極用炭素繊維。引張弾性率が300GPa 以上、嵩密度が1.8g/cm3 以上、および表面酸素量(O1S/C1S比) が0.03以下である物性を備えることが好ましい。

黒鉛六角網面層の平均格子面間隔d002 が0.345nm以下、結晶子の大きさLc(002)が5.0nm以上で、かつ表層部の炭素網面がオニオンスキン構造の黒鉛結晶性状を備えることを特徴とするリン酸型燃料電池の多孔質電極基板用炭素繊維。
