自車に対する障害物の存在する方向を検出するセンサと、該センサによる検出に応答して、上記障害物の存在する方向を感知し得る態様で警報音を発生する手段と、上記障害物の映像を運転者に表示する表示手段と、を備えてなることを特徴とする障害物確認装置。
