【要約】 (修正有)【課題】正極活物質として使用される水酸化ニッケルはサイクル特性が劣っているのでその改良を目的とする。【解決手段】リチウムイオン二次電池の正極活物質材料である水酸化ニッケルに二種以上の水酸化物を共沈させ、そのうちの一種をコバルトと限定することにより、リチウム含有複合酸化物活物質の分極特性を改善し、更にニッケル及びコバルト以外の水酸化物を共沈させることにより、格子の安定化を図った。この複合元素共沈水酸化物を得るために、原料として用いられるニッケル塩水溶液中の塩濃度を制御した。
