【要約】【課題】簡便な熱拡散係数測定法とその装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】熱応答の早い細い熱電対を2本を、一定間隔で試料に接触させ、その延長上の一定の距離のところに熱パルスを与えるた時の熱電対のの出力の時間変化を記録する。それぞれの熱電対の出力がその最大値の1/2になる時間の間隔と、熱パルスを与えた場所と各熱電対との距離を知ることにより一定の数式により熱拡散係数を知る。

Claim (excerpt)：

試料上の2点の温度を測定する手段と、パルス的に熱を与える手段とを備え、前記2点における温度の変化を連続的に測定し、その2点間の熱の移動にかかる時間と熱を与えた場所と温度測定をする2点間とのそれぞれの距離とから熱拡散係数を測定する熱拡散係数測定装置。
