【課題】被処理ガス中の腐食性酸性ガス(塩化水素、フッ化水素など)を、低い圧力損失で、効率よく除去する。【解決手段】腐食性の酸性ガスを含む被処理ガスと接触して、反応し、前記酸性ガスを除去するための金属フィルタを、ハニカム状又はフィン状に形成する。このような金属フィルタは、(i)スペーサを介して複数の金属板が積層した積層体、(ii)平板状金属板と波形状金属板とが交互に積層した積層体、又は(iii)ハニカム状金属成形体などで構成してもよい。前記金属フィルタを構成する金属は、アルミニウムなどであってもよい。このような金属フィルタはクリーンルームを浄化するのに有用である。【選択図】図1
