【課題】 ノイズ信号が多い環境や環境温度が大幅に変動したり、冷却性能が環境状況で変動する場合でも、インバータの異常発熱を正確に検出できるインバータ装置およびこれを用いた車両を提供することにある。【解決手段】 異常検知部144の温度算出回路144Bは、外気温センサ150の出力値と、インバータ装置外から入力される温度計算パラメータにより、モジュール下温度センサ152が配置された位置の温度Tcalを算出する。近似線算出回路144Dは、温度算出値とモジュール下温度センサ152によって検出された実際の温度値Trealとの差分値の近似曲線を求めて、温度差の傾向を定期的なサンプリングで把握する。異常判定回路144Eは、あらかじめ求めた初期傾向からの差分または傾向の変化から異常判定する。【選択図】図1

主回路構成する半導体モジュールと、この半導体モジュールをオンオフ制御する制御回路を有するインバータ装置であって、 複数の部位の温度を検出する複数の温度検出手段と、 前記温度検出手段の出力値の統計処理してインバータ装置の異常を検出する異常検出手段とを備えたことを特徴とするインバータ装置。
