エンジンから駆動輪に至るパワーラインの途中に発電機を兼用するモータを組込み、該モータの出力によってエンジンをアシストするようにしたハイブリッド型エンジンにおいて、キースイッチの遮断時に前記モータを発電機として利用し、発電制動によってエンジンを強制的に停止させるようにしたことを特徴とするエンジンの強制停止装置。
