【課題】培養コストを低減でき、しかも培地中への添加物の影響を受けにくく再現性に優れる未分化性を維持させた状態でES細胞を培養する方法の提供。【解決手段】フィーダー細胞の非存在下、無血清培地中で胚性幹細胞を浮遊培養する方法。該培養方法によって維持された胚性幹細胞。基本培地に白血病抑制因子、ポリビニルアルコール、L-グルタミン、インスリン、トランスフェリン、セレニウム、2-メルカプトエタノール及び抗生物質を添加したマウス胚性幹細胞維持用の無血清培地。【選択図】図3
