【要約】【目的】 合成樹脂製のランプハウジング1に対して合成樹脂製のレンズ4を溶着(5)した車両用灯具を改良して、ランプハウジングの耐薬品性,耐熱性および成形性を格段に改良する。この技術はランプに限らず、車両用の外装品全般に適用できるものである。【構成】 レンズ4は透明でなければならないので非晶性合成樹脂で成形する。ランプハウジング1は、レンズに対する溶着性を確保するため、レンズと同じ非晶性樹脂をベースとし、これに結晶性樹脂(例えばPET,PBTなど)の10〜30%を添加してアロイ化し、耐熱性、耐薬品性を改善し、成形性を維持する。

開口部を有する合成樹脂製の筐体と、上記の開口部を覆って装着された合成樹脂製のレンズとよりなる車両用の外装品において、前記の筐体は結晶性樹脂と非晶性樹脂とのアロイ材によって構成されており、前記のレンズが該筐体の開口部に溶着されていることを特徴とする、車両用外装品。
