運転者の瞬きを検出し、検出された瞬きの特徴量を算出し、上記瞬きの特徴量を所定の閾値と比較して運転者の居眠りを判定し警報を行う居眠り警報装置において、自車の走行している道路形態を判定する道路形態判定手段と、判定された道路形態に応じて上記閾値を変更する閾値変更手段とを有することを特徴とする居眠り警報装置。
