上底吹き転炉形式の炉において、転炉滓と酸化鉄とを主成分とする脱りん用フラックスを用い、酸素を上吹きして溶銑を脱りん処理する際、処理中のスラグ条件を重量%で、塩基度(%CaO/%SiO2)=1.2〜2.0 、(Al2O3)=2〜15%、(T.Fe)= 7〜25%、かつ(MnO)=5〜15%に制御することを特徴とする溶銑の脱りん方法。
