【課題】 従来に比して高強度下での強度-延性バランスが良好なβ型チタン合金を提供する。【解決手段】 本発明のβ型チタン合金は、mass%で、V:6.0〜10%、Mo:2.0〜6.0%、Zr:2.0〜6.0%、Al:1.0〜5.0%、Fe:1.0〜8.0%、Cr:4.0%以下、かつFe量+Cr量≧2.5%、残部Tiおよび不純物からなるものである。Fe、Crの添加量は、Fe:2.0〜6.0%、Cr:1.0〜4.0%とすることが好ましい。また、チタン合金の平均結晶粒は50μm 以下とすることが好ましい。【選択図】 図1
