観察対象物を照明するための光を発する光源と、該光源に電力を供給する電源と、内視鏡本体と、該内視鏡本体の接眼部に着脱可能な外付けTVカメラと、該外付けTVカメラの出力信号を表示手段に表示可能な信号に変換するTVプロセッサと、を備えた内視鏡TV観察システムにおいて、前記電源はバッテリであって、該電源と前記光源とが前記外付けTVカメラに内蔵されていることを特徴とする内視鏡TV観察システム。
