【要約】【課題】サイリスタ変換器の入力電流において発生する{12n±1次、n=1,2,3,...}で表される高調波成分を低減でき、かつ構成もコンパクトにできるサイリスタ変換装置を提供することにある。【解決手段】三相交流電源1から30度の位相差を有する電圧が入力されるサイリスタ変換器4および4′において、周波数が前記サイリスタ変換器に入力される電圧の周波数の6倍である電圧を一方のサイリスタ変換器の出力電圧に加えると共に、前記6倍周波数の電圧とは逆位相の電圧を他方のサイリスタ変換器の出力電圧に加える。

三相交流電源から交流電力を入力し、直流電力を出力するサイリスタ変換器と、周波数が前記三相交流電源の周波数の6倍である交流電圧および交流電流のいずれか一方を前記サイリスタ変換器の出力端に加える単相交流電源を備えたことを特徴とするサイリスタ変換装置。
